My Services

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been in the human services for most of my adult life. I believe everyone is unique and deserving of love, empathy and compassion. I have worked in group homes, schools and clinical settings but my love is to be outside breathing the fresh air. I utilize meditation, person centered therapy, art and music therapy and solution focused therapy. You can choose between in person, telehealth or walk talktherapy.  Comfort and confidentiality are the foundations of our sessions.

Walk-Talk Therapy

Walk-talk therapy is a connection between mind, body and nature aimed to enhance the benefits of talk therapy. Walking can reduce stress, help you breathe deeply and release tension while processing thoughts, experiences, and emotion. Walking side by side instead of face to face can enable some clients to feel more safe and comfortable sharing their thoughts and experiences. Additionally, exercise naturally produces endorphins, which triggers a positive feeling in the body to help you feel happier.

What will the sessions be like?

We will have an initial session to meet, discuss goals and make a plan for our sessions moving forward. We’ll discuss what is on your mind that day and see how it pertains to your overall goals, just as if we were in an office setting. Periodically, we may take a few moments to silently reflect, deeply breathe, or sit.  By the end, you may have gained some understanding, and notice a reduction in your stress and anxiety. There is never pressure about pace or duration. You set the pace and I match it.
